Founder & Executive Director
Leslie Hughes Kennedy is the founder and Executive Director of the Barking Beauty Pageant. A former Ms. New York and star of NYCTV's Doggie Moms. She brings her expertise as a national emcee and host of the National American Miss Pageants to the stage along with her "doghter," a sweet little Chihuahua named, Laverne.

Social Media Manager
Angela Johnston is a proud University of Texas School of Journalism alumnus with experience in the publishing industry and in nonprofit communications. She and her husband of 29 years are the parents of two fully-grown humans and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Moose.
Donations Coordinator
Beth Jewell is a dog and kitty lover! she has helped establish and secure donations for many events to benefit nonprofits such as school events, counseling agency events and pet adoption events. Pets are near and dear to her and daughter.
